D.I.Y pt2

So I did a little experimenting with my first pair of skinny jeans from grade 9 that are now too short for me. Forgot to take a before picture of the whole jeans...but this is their original colour(excuse the shitty quality photo booth pics):


Then I cut them, scrunched them up and tied them up with elastic bands randomly. Filled a bucket with pure bleach, and let them soak for about an hour. Took them out, took off the elastic bands, and threw them in the dryer. The heat from the dryer burnt them a little so they've got these cool areas that are sort of rust coloured. This was all verryyy simple and I will probably try it again with more specific placements of the elastic bands so I can get different marbling patterns. Anyway finished product:

    Yeah dude, I didn't think it would actually work cause it was so easy haha...I didn't even try to place the elastic bands in any kind of manner. Use at least 6-7 of them though if you want a decent amount of marbling.

    Too easy! I didn't leave my jeans in that long just because my friend had hers rip really easy because the bleach weakens the jeans a lot. But totally wearing them today, I loveeeee sun.


    I'm going on a hunt for tie dye down Queen West today.
